The garden was to be designed in a contemporary style with three seating areas that would make the most of the sun throughout the day. A dining area large enough to fit two sun loungers; a relaxing area with a link up to take a fire table at a later date and a bistro area.
Clean contemporary lines with a colour palette of greys was desired highlighted by purple and pink shades of planting.
A sense of privacy in this overlooked garden was also important. Using copper elements to complement the grey tones, we divided the garden into 3 outdoor rooms. Feature DesignClad Walls in Dark Steel created a contemporary backdrop. This was softened with Instant Hedging, Contemporary Copper Vas Planters and planting. A bespoke pergola, powder coated in copper framed the areas offering a different picture perfect view from each angle. Subtle lighting was evenly spaced around the garden to complete the overall desired effect.
BALI National Award Winner 2017. This garden was selected for demonstrating exemplary standards of professional excellence. Every construction and design project was visited personally by a BALI judge, and scrutinised individually. The judges then jointly deliberated each decision to ensure consensus that the winners really do represent the very best in landscape construction and design.
