Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a bright, prosperous New Year. Your support means so much to us, THANK YOU! We could not have done it without you
We have had a lot to celebrate again this year, including the successful end to our 30 Causes for 30 Years challenge, a Cube engagement and another Cube grandchild! Our design and landscaping teams completed 26 design and build projects, reaching from the coastlines of St Osyth and Westcliff-on-sea to the rural villages of Saffron Walden and Ongar. Several projects included both rear garden and driveway transformations, along with multiple garden rooms, water-features, built-in seating, pergolas and other bespoke features. We continued to invest in our people through our training and development programme, helping our staff grow and move up through the teams. We also took on additional design and landscaping staff to meet the companies needs, including our first forewoman Laura, who has elevated the team with her drive, organisation, and get-things-done attitude. Here are just some of our highlights…
Between January and April, we completed our 30th Anniversary challenge to fundraise for 30 Causes for 30 Years, raising over £2000 for a variety of good causes. Highlights included cycling 600km for GOSH, a marathon run for the Autistic Society and a 500km team challenge for Children with Cancer UK. The whole team got involved again, taking on long dog walks, bike rides, running, swimming, gym activities and even some in-line skating from Pawel, to help us reach our target. Thank you to everyone who supported us in raising awareness for these charities and celebrating our 30 years in the industry, we truly appreciate it!
Celebrations continued this year for the Butler family, as Myles finally popped the question to Chelsea in July and she said ‘Yes’! Sean and Jane, also became grandparents for the third time, joyfully welcoming baby Zara to the family on December 1st.
In-house, we’ve continued to refine our internal processes to boost efficiency and elevate the client experience. Our project manager, Myles has integrated AI tools for meeting recording and introduced mid-point check-ins to align expectations throughout the design journey. Meanwhile, our lead designer, Marta has supported team training, ensuring our designers remain fully up to date with the latest CAD software to produce ultra-realistic renders. We welcomed landscape architect Pawel to the design team in March, followed by garden designer and horticulturist Helen in July. Together they bring an exciting mix of experience, from urban planning and construction to motion graphics and illustration. Bringing fresh creativity into the studio, Pawel and Helen have settled into their roles brilliantly. It’s been fantastic to see their designs come into fruition, with even more exciting work set to begin in the New Year.
Onsite, the Cube uniform was given a refresh this year. With the team’s input on comfort and style, they are now proudly sporting a new range of T-shirts and sweaters. Our teams have continued to develop and advance through our Mastery Academy, supported by Landscape Manager, Izaak. This has opened up opportunities for new leaders, and we were delighted to welcome Ellis as Foreman, Laura as Forewoman, and James as Trainee Foreman. Their leadership skills have not gone unnoticed, with 5-star client reviews across the board, and Laura was deservedly nominated for the Top 100 Women in Construction 2025.
We completed a wide range of design and build projects this year but our role doesn’t end with the final planting. Our horticulturists are here to help gardens establish, flourish, and thrive over time. To support this, our maintenance programme has now been extended into the winter months, ensuring each garden is well prepared for the changing seasons. Contact us to find out more.
With many exciting projects already in the pipeline for 2026, we’re looking forward to what the new year will bring. Thank you for your support and partnership throughout 2025. From our Cube1994 family to yours, we wish you a wonderful and joy-filled holiday season.
