In 1994, Sean Butler set up his Bespoke Garden Design and Landscaping Company. Sean always had a passion for the outdoor environment. His background in civil engineering gave him an in-depth understanding of the construction of each project.  Joining the Society of Garden Designers and gaining Member status gave him recognition nationally of  his design abilities. Sean built the company up over time and his design skills were recognised further when he was chosen as vice chairman of the SGD, sitting on the board for 3 years.  His experience is recognised industry wide, with a regular Educate column in ProLandscaper and published articles in Homes & Gardens, 25 Beautiful Homes, The Sunday Times supplement, the Daily Express, the Contemporary Garden Magazine and the Modern Garden magazine. Cube 1994 Ltd have worked on a vast array of residential and commercial projects. From urban contemporary gardens to formal traditional gardens. Cube have also collaborated with other designers to build award winning gardens at the critically acclaimed RHS Chelsea Flower Show and at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show. Most recently, Cube 1994 Ltd have received the ProLandscaper Business Award for Design and Build Company and were highly commended for the Landscape Company category, we are also recipients of  a further Best of Houzz Award for Customer Service 2019.

MEET THE TEAM

Sean Butler
Managing Director and Designer
Sean has specialised in the field of Landscape Garden Design for over 25 years. With a background in civil engineering Sean has an in-depth understanding of the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built landscape. Sean is a registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers (MSGD), a professional status limited to just 200 garden designers in the country, assessed and approved by the SGD. Sean has collaborated with other designers to build award winning show gardens at The Chelsea Flower Show in 2016, 2015, 2013 and 2012 and Hampton Court Flower Show in 2014. Sean’s work has earned him a prestigious reputation in the garden design industry and has had much media attention.
Anastasia Stamos
Executive PA
Anastasia has a background in Marketing and a passion for design. She provides the Managing Director with marketing, administrative and project support, additionally handling operations and acting as the MD's first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organisation. A longstanding employee, Anastasia has aided the development of the business, overseeing operational changes and fine-tuning these processes to improve the day to day running of the business.
Tom Hill
Project Manager
Tom supports the Managing Director in the management, implementation and
quality assurance of all landscape construction projects. Working alongside the Foremen, Tom takes on projects at their pre-construction
phase; informing the final stages of the design process and resolving the practical limitations of the
design in relation to the existing site. Tom has an eye for detail, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest specifications. With a strong background working on high end residential projects, Tom has successfully project managed a number of BALI and RHS Chelsea award winning gardens.
Samuel Moore
Assistant Designer
Sam's background is in Horticulture and Landscape Garden Design. Having studied at Writtle University College, his planting expertise and advanced skills in 3D design and visualisation enable him to capture and communicate ideas effectively. Sam is a pre-registered member of the SGD. His talents have been rewarded, winning a place in ProLandscaper's 30 under 30: The Next Generation, Class of 2018. He has worked on 3 RHS gold medal award winning gardens and reached the national finals of Young Horticulturalist of the Year 2015.
Patrick Walter
Landscape Foreman
Patrick has a background in Horticulture and Landscape Construction. An experienced, careful and creative landscape gardener, Patrick has worked on a variety of projects including the restoration of historically important buildings and their landscapes. As Foreman, Patrick manages and co-ordinates his team of landscapers in the construction of each project. Scheduling and overseeing project operations, providing training and support to his team and delivering completed projects to the highest specifications.

Landscape Foreman
Mick has a background in Landscaping and a keen interest in Horticulture. A highly skilled craftsman with over 25 years experience working luxury design and builds across Essex and London. As Foreman, Mick supervises and organises his team of landscapers in the construction of each project. Scheduling and overseeing project operations, delivering completed projects to the highest specifications whilst providing training and support to his team.

Shane Cross
Assistant Landscape Foreman
Shane has a background in Landscape Construction and Mechanical Engineering. Detail-oriented and client focused, Shane has worked on a variety of bespoke residential projects and award winning designs. As an Assistant Landscape Foreman, Shane works closely with our Project Manager Tom to direct and co-ordinate his team of landscapers in the construction of each project. Delivering completed projects to the highest specifications, scheduling and overseeing project operations and providing training and support to his team.

Scott Draper
Assistant Landscape Foreman
Scott has over 30 years in Landscape Construction. A skilled carpenter, with a length of experience in swimming pool tiling, Scott has worked on a variety of high quality design and build projects. As an Assistant Landscape Foreman, Scott works closely with Foreman Mick to guide his team of landscapers in the construction of each project. Providing on the job training and support to his team, scheduling and overseeing project operations and delivering completed projects to the highest specifications.
