This expansive rural wrap-around garden included a swimming pool and large games lawn which were no longer regularly used. The client was keen to reimagine these spaces, enhance biodiversity throughout the site, and create sheltered areas for relaxation away from the wind.
Designed to embrace the uninterrupted countryside views, the main rear garden is centred around a striking water feature and koi pond, surrounded by lush naturalistic aquatic planting. The former in-and-out driveway was redesigned to create a welcoming retreat, complete with a smaller wildlife pond and a peaceful floating deck area. A separate 2 bay parking area was created using a modular cell and gravel system with a sandstone sett surround.
