A contemporary home, in a woodland setting; our client’s brief was to create a focal point with some wow factor as they looked out onto the garden, and an area to relax and look back at the house. A bespoke urbis water bowl was chosen as the centre piece. A stepping stone path leads you down the garden, where the water bowl sits in the centre of a brick paved circle, garden benches placed either side are enclosed with natural planting to create a tranquil space for relaxing. Box hedging and box balls line the edges of the lawn and focus the view on the water bowl. A vibrant palette of planting including varieties of crocosmia, phormiums and cornus fill the borders with colour. Warm lighting adds ambience and extends the use of the garden into the evenings.
