Contemporary Meets Traditional

This contemporary courtyard area was created as an extension of the Orangery through bi-fold doors. A Rivelin fire table is the centre-piece of this courtyard, where contemporary garden furniture will encompass it making a real cosy, relaxing space.

Detail in the design is seen here with the retaining wall blended seamlessly into the courtyard paving. Clipped box hedging divides the Traditional paved area from the new Sawn sandstone.

A water blade is strategically placed as a focal point from within the Orangery and is lit up by LED lights at night. Stainless steel way marker lights subtly light the edge of the courtyard while Stainless steel spike spots in the border planting give an ambient glow at night.

The courtyard is surrounded by White flowering Hydrangea 'Annabel' and inter planted with Clipped Buxus balls, Allium giganteum, and Tulipa Snow Queen.
